What's the issue at hand? "I only have two choices for what to make: MGS5, or an original game," Kojima said. "As for ZOE and the rest, I'm sorry, but that kind of got pushed to the back burner. It's not that I'm at a loss for what to do -- it'll definitely be a console game, and it'll be the sort of big-budget project where I'm dead if we screw it up. No matter which way we go, we've got the engine all set for it; the technical side is going along smoothly."

Game is pushed back, but the engine is ready for when they want to return to it

Ok, Now that the game's development is secured...

Let's hope Kojima doesn't screw it up, I don't know why... But I have a feeling that it wont be like ZOE2. Something will be off...

I wonder if metal gear rising uses a brand NEW kind of combat system?
Maybe that new combat system can also be applied to ZOE?

Or even better, maybe Rising is Kojima's way to introducing MGS fans to the cybernetic futuristic universe of ZOE?

Look at Raiden's new outfit. Notice anything OF-like about it besides the missing cockpit?
The metalwork around the neck and spine are skeletal, much like Idolo.

So I'm guessing that Kojima might have been doing us a favor all along. When Rising comes out, I want to know all about the similarities. I have a strong feeling that something will look familiar...

From the trailer I saw, The game looked pretty wicked. The way you can slice enemies and surroundings looks like it's going to be fun.

As for ZOE similarities, I believe those can be seen through all the Metal Gear Solid series...

I saw the trailer. Honestly, I' a bit disapointed AND impressed.

I'm a little saddened that they pretty much just modified the MGS 4 engine and continued the game from there instead of taking MGS to a whole new level. I was expecting more of the "Grey Fox" style combat that I've seen these Cyber Ninjas doing in the previous MGS series.
So far, all I see is the game game engine, but a few functions added. Shame...

However, I like how you can dynamically cut objects down to the finest bits.
I totally love how you can cut your enemy into small different pieces in mid air in slow motion-DIGGING IT!

So in the end, this game just might be worth the buy. If Snake and the rest of the MGS crew is out of the story, then something new is bound to happen here, something amazing.
Honestly, I want that MGS rising cutting idea implied into ZOE 3.
I want to control Jehuty's slashes with the movement of the right analog stick.
This allows for more dynamic combat when fighting different enemies.
