High Speed Mecha game to be revealed in next week's Famitsu
According to a post on the PS3Forum Duckroll from neogaf says that, next week's issue of Famitsu states: "High Speed Robot Battle returns..... on the PS3" Will this be a new Zone of Enders link: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11998981&postcount=93

Re: High Speed Mecha game to be revealed in next week's Famitsu
This is... D: WOW! I hope it's ZOE3! By the way -- it seems like Hideo released ZOE either before or after an MGS release...so lately I've been wondering what Hideo's actions will be now since MGS4 is out and it doesn't seem like the series will continue. I mean -- what else does Hideo have to do right now? EDIT :: I think it's a good chance it's ZOE3 because " High Speed Robot Battle returns..... " is extremely similar to some text in ZOE2's intro I think... No wait! This was written on the cover of... Ok -- the text I bolded there....I could almost swear I saw that written somewhere in ZOE/2. The back of ZOE2's cover has "Take control of a lightning fast mechanized robot in..." The back of ZOE's cover has "Playing as the reluctant hero Leo Stenbuck, you'll command a giant, mechanized robot into high-speed, aerial combat against a heavily armed, rogue military regime." EDIT2 :: YES! It's about 7 minutes into the ZOE2 intro where it will write "HIGH SPEED ROBOT ACTION" onto the screen! EDIT3 :: Uh.. Post #153http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.ph ... tcount=153Quote: Konami's E3 press conference is today (7/16/08)... Post #186http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.ph ... tcount=186Quote: Quote: Next week's Famitsu: High Speed Robot Battle returns..... on the PS3. <--- I think you've been fished in. The guy who posted that wasn't responsible for any of the other Famitsu info. Plus the rest of that post was a little suspect. EDIT4 :: http://www.konami.jp/e3/ -- nothing about ZOE3.

Re: High Speed Mecha game to be revealed in next week's Famitsu
I hate to make a double post, but details are really sketchy. I've been doing some research lately and take a good look at the following links! The ones I highlighted in bold support the following citation: Quote: During an interview with PSM UK, Kojima told them:Quote: “I would like to say that Zone of the Enders is quite near the priority list… [after MGS4] it might be good to change to outer space or robots or things like that for a change” [March 12, 2008] http://www.psu.com/Hideo-Kojima-working ... 042-p0.php[April 6, 2008] http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2008/0 ... remake.htm[May 13, 2008] http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3167783[May 13, 2008] http://gamefunk.net/?p=76[May 14, 2008] http://www.fragland.net/news/Zone-of-th ... ent/19078/[May 15, 2008] http://scrawlfx.com/2008/05/zoe-3-on-hi ... to-do-listComments: I'm pretty confident Hideo's priority is on ZOE3. The citations certainly prove it (and they're pretty fresh!).

Triple post. February 2008[Link #1]http://www.n4g.com//ps3/NewsPending-116249.aspx [Link #2] http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... =361830199[Link #3] http://www.n4g.com//ps3/NewsPending-116249.aspx[Link #4] http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=246497Quote: From blog that first spread rumor about "Tears of Blood", yesterday posted detailed 8 Days(will have new name) description, and many other rumors that he posted way before anyone and turned to be true (check his blog).
"ZOE 3 will be shown at Sony's next game expo and it's Ps3 exclusive and it's going to be fully integrated with online multiplayer that host up to 32 players."
Since you guys allowed his rumor that was posted on neogaf to be posted here, i hope you let this one too. I think he finally deserves some credit. 5/17/2006[Link #1] http://209.85.141.104/search?q=cache:WZ ... cd=5&gl=us[Link #2] http://blogs.ign.com/Makaze-IGN/2006/05/17/18237/Quote: This isn't really news, but Mark Ryan and I(that's me on the right) spoke to Hideo Kojima at E3 (the video guys tell me that the interview will be posted soon) and waited until the very end to ask him what's been on both of our minds since we finished the Second Runner...
"When are we going to see Zone of the Enders 3?"
Kojima-san laughed when we asked him this question but he didn't shoot it down.
"I want to make it," he said. "But I'm so busy with MGS4 that I have to focus on that right now."
When we asked him what system he'd likely bring it to, he replied: "Probably PlayStation 3, or maybe Xbox 360."
Take from that what you will.

Re: High Speed Mecha game to be revealed in next week's Famitsu
So, with the silence of this topic, and it having been well over a week now, I assume its safe to assume this didn't amount to anything?
So what were they talking about, if anyone knows, out of interest :v

Quote: So, with the silence of this topic, and it having been well over a week now, I assume its safe to assume this didn't amount to anything? I disagree -- I just think that either nobody checked these forums or nobody cared to reply. What's so confusing? All you have to do is read through the links (and especially my previous post in this thread). It's pretty clear and obvious that Hideo said he will be doing ZOE3 and that he wants to. And some of this information is only 2 to 4 months old. Hideo himself said these things!

The opening of this topic is : "High Speed Mecha game to be revealed in next week's Famitsu"
Which would have meant confirmation if it had been ZOE 3, not months old information that Kojima considers ZOE to be high on his priorities (That I already knew about).
But I assume that since no mention was made since the issue in question was released, that it had nothing to do with ZOE at all, and when they said High speed mecha they were referring to something else.

Re: High Speed Mecha game to be revealed in next week's Famitsu
Alright, that's ok. Just in my opinion I think everything still adds up that Hideo is working on ZOE3 (doesn't have to publicize every single move he makes) or around the time he is heading into it. If you disagree, that's ok. These are just my own conclusions and speculations then.

Re: High Speed Mecha game to be revealed in next week's Famitsu
Oh no, I get that. It's highly plausible given what he has said in past interviews that ZOE is a pretty good possibility now.
Although I don't want to go and get myself excited until some concrete information comes to light.
I just wanted to know specifically about the announcement in Famitsu.

Still no word on any ZOE mention in the issue. I'll stay on the lookout, though.
