If ZOE 3 was made on the PS3, its standards will be hard to beat for any mecha games! ZOE 2 was good but it lacks features like online battle, free roaming, world interaction, etc.

I don't think he was directly inspired by it, but i don't doubt he does know about ZOEOA, i mean, this is the biggest unofficial site about Zone Of The Enders...

Anyhow, it's really cool how these news came 1 day after ZOEOA was released.

Though i won't lie here, i'm very happy that he is finally reconsidering ZOE 3. He has been harassed time after time with his interviews "hahaha, MGS series is awesome, so when are you gonna make ZOE 3?"

While I'm tempted to take the cynical line here and agree that ZOE3 will never see the light of day I feel the need to point out that Hideo Kojima is the same guy who brought us MGS4 after something like 6 years of development.
The guy may be a nutter and hard to count on but he directs GREAT games, so even if he takes his sweet time I'm gonna hope he does ZOE3 well rather than fast,

I'm well aware some things are better with a little time, but I would feel better if there was a confirmed YES or NO answer, then "I really want to, but..." If he gives the yes or no, I'll be freaking happy. Yes: he can take all the time he wants till it's perhaps the most epic game ever made. No: i can let my soul rest, and pop in ZOE 2 and beat it on the hardest difficulty again.
