Clearing up Dingo's Story
Many people conclude that Dingo's story about his units betrayal contradicts the ZoE History.
It was generally assumed that he said that his team was using LEVs against Earth-built OFs when it happened just a year before BAHRAM developed the first Orbital Frame. Furthermore the only OF ever produced by Earth were the Testament and Iblis from Fists of Mars which were never mass produced because those and the events of Dolores convinced BAHRAM to take over Mars with the Zakat.
But Dingo did not say that. Remember that the English translation of the dialogue is a bit sketchy. He say said that "the Orbital Frame was still in experimental stages of development. They were in the latest Earth built model. We were in LEV's. There was a serious difference in performance."
But suppose the intended meaning was this "the Orbital Frame was still in the experimental stages of development, so we were in LEV's. They were in the latest Earth built models, the most advanced and well maintained. There was a serious difference in performance."
He's explaining why a BAHRAM task force could be defeated by a UNSF ambush despite the fact that we have clearly seen BAHRAM clean out Phantomas. It was because they did not have Raptors and other Orbital Frames. BAHRAM probably couldn't arm their LEVs with the most advanced weaponry at that time. Earth LEVs dominated the battle field.

Re: Clearing up Dingo's Story
That is a very good point. The way did imply they were in Orbital Frames the way he said it. Nice job.

Re: Clearing up Dingo's Story
This also means that Jehuty was probably the first Orbital Frame that Dingo ever piloted. Probably speaks loads to his skill right there. Remember Radium's first run with Idolo...granted he didn't have a very good A.I. at the time.
So does anyone wonder if Dingo ever met Radium at some point?
