Think of a ZOE 3 side scroller featuring the same gameplay style of ZOE 1, rather than ZOE 2.

I remember long ago imagining a ZoE sidescroller. In fact, I think such thing has been mentioned once, already.

If I have the time and working comp I can try out making some sprites. Of course only if it needs such.

I'd be glad to help in things like discussing gameplay elements, plot/events and help with some visuals. I usually say "count me out because, sooner or later, I'll drop out". This time, I say fuck what I usually say and I'll see if I can be of any help. I need to change this attitude of mine if I ever want to get anything done.

I just have one tiny question: how can the gameplay style be that of ZoE1 instead of ZoE2 in a sidescroller game if neither is a sidescroller? I mean, the only thing I'd be able to think of would be the grabs and lack of Vector Cannon and Zero Shift. Otherwise, it'll be pretty much the same, right?

If you have the time and energy to make a new game, then I think you should do it. And a 2D side scroller sounds like it is easy to make.
