It's Officially happening. FINALLY!

Jehuty from Zone Of the Enders is listed as a Yamaguchi's Revoltech for April ~ 2,850 Yen ($34.50 USD)

It looks to be based off of Konami's Jehuty kit; however, with Yamaguchi's Revolver joints for added articulation in the wrists, shoulders, and elbows. As well as some added gimmicks like the "enemy proximity ring" and clear floating stand.
Finally everyone will be able own Jehuty for a reasonable price.

The prototype was show at the "The Art Of Yoji Shinkawa" exhibit in Japan.

I will update this thread with additional information regarding the exact release date, pre-order locations, and promo-pictures as soon as possible.
No word yet on the bronze representation to the left.

My current excitement cannot be measured by any known system. I am ECSTATIC.

Seems to be an incredibly rough model though (check out the fingers, all over the place). They need to tune and improve the overall quality of the model, but the bronze model on the left seems to be much higher quality, so I'm not that worried. Knowing Revoltech, they will do just fine with this model.

I am looking forward to seeing more Revoltech OFs.

Expensive? Really?
The kit form is far more pricey, but I guess if you have to ship it and everything...

I don't doubt it. I'm really glad Revoltech decided to go with Jehuty. Robot Damashii Jehuty would have been cool, don't get me wrong, but their line is sorta more "modelesque" than "action figure." Jehuty, heck all Orbital Frames, are hardcore giant-train-stopping, battleship-blasting, landscape-ripping-up-and-throwing, solar-system-explosion-tanking mecha badasses. The durability, quick posability and overall "toughness" of the Revoltech line should serve them just fine.

My personal wishlist for accessories to be included with this figure:

-Attachable Burst Shot, Dash Shot and Burst Blade aura
-A way to detach the Options on Jehuty's hip and a clear-plastic frame to turn it into Jehuty Ver. 2
-Some sort of special paintjob or material to allow Jehuty's Metatorn "Veins" to be shown
-Included alternate "active" Blade (as opposed to the inactive Blade seen in the pictures) MUST HAVE
-Opening the "Landing Gears" on Jehuty's feet to assist in posability (seen when landing Jehuty on stable ground in-game)

Subweapons (now I'm just getting greedy -_-), Vector Cannon, Homing Missle, Phalanx, F-Mine, Comet, Mummy, Halberd etc. Pretty much every Subweapon that creates a physical object, though Vector Cannon is EASILY my favorite.

Seriously speaking, those are all great ideas.
However, I doubt they will release a figure at that price with so many accessories.
Especially being the pilot figure in (hopes) a new line.

As we've seen with they Evangelion line, if they fly off the shelves.... more versions will follow. Naked Jehuty being another must have for me. Personally, that's one of the reasons why I'll probably get three of these even though I already have all the existing resin kits except for Nephtis.

Oh no, I know they aren't going to include all that swag for the price. The Vector Cannon alone would probably shoot it up by 1000-1500 yen (as it's almost a model itself due to scale).

Really the "active" Blade is the only ESSENTIAL thing. They HAVE to have that if nothing else than for the fact that almost anytime Jehuty is doing ANYTHING "action-y" that sword is out. That and the Landing Gears so the figure can actually stand up.

I'd settle for the aforementioned Burst/Dash auras (they threw in similar things in previous Gurren Lagann and Street Fighter Revoltechs), the "Veins" (considering how advanced the Japanese model/toy industry has become, the idea that they can't find some sort of special paint or material that would allow the "Veins" to really pop and shine under certain lighting conditions seems lazy to me), and the Ver. 2 frame (I mean come on, it's obvious from the picture the Options are already detachable, we're talking a clear piece of plastic to hold them around the body. How expensive can that really be?) Any Subweapons or other Extras we get are a bonus in my book, although I gotta say, I NEVER thought about including the Ring Radar. That is genius.

And yeah, I am gunning for more Revoltech Orbital Frames. My wanted list includes the following.

4. - Dolores/Isis
5. - Vic Viper
6. - Ardjet
7. - Hator
