Hmm... If you want me to add Anubis to ZOEOA, I might need a little longer before I release it. I still have yet to release the Raptors and....... Tempest.


Sadly, ZOEOA closed beta will be released on December 15th, so if you want the beta, you can only request it via PM, and I will not upload it publicly due to a few development problems.

Why don't you release the game on 15th and then release Anubis as some sort of patch, or addon (no need to make an .exe, just make a folder with the mech!)?

It's getting harder and harder to wait ^^.

well...... we still have to finish all of the custom raptors before we even release the open beta! And we've only got a few days to do it D':

Besides, we still have a LOT of tuning and unforseen problems that we didn't take into account earlier.

However, we'll try to get a shitty beta out for you guys...

Of course, the BETA version will NOT be compatible with the final ZOEOA servers.
Just a tip mkay? Beta works with beta, and ZOEOA:complete only plays with ZOEOA complete.

At least the beta already has the (nearly impossible to unlock) Jehuty.

BTW what do you mean with nearly impossible? Is the campaign too hard!?

If it is, good, i love some hardcore robot shooting!

Oh, and there's something, is this game too heavy(graphics)?

My PC is ooooold, i don't want it to explode, however, it does run ultimate knight(the engine this game uses) with little lag.

Well you're in luck. This game is based on the UKXP engine. I made a custom configuration that has 30 FRAME SKIP, LOW-RES SHADOWS, and Shader model 1 implementation.
In otherwords, I optimized it for efficiency.
Of course, if these graphics are still too high for your comp, then I guess you can tune it yourself.

In other words, this is just like SEEDMOD, but for Zone Of The Enders.

Also, for those of us who want MOTION BLUR, BLOOM, and BUMP-MAPPING, I will release a separate graphics patch for those of us with hi-end computers.

I love the new amount of activity going on in this site. Keep it up guys. The more feedback and attention this site gets, the harder me and my friends will work to make you happy. I have Omphai to thank for all of the help.

Hahah nahhhhh I'm just good with my stuff. If I was God, I'd make Zone Of The Enders on the Crysis engine >:D

But yeah :D

Bump-mapping.The only problem is.... you need a POWERFUL GRAPHICS CARD FOR THIS! My bump-mapping filter generates a 3D mesh for every pixel on screen, so you better have fog on, low resolution, and no HDR.
This technology is still new, ok?


OH and guess what? December 19th is my birthday! ^.^
