As far as I know, only orbital frames can have the footless legwork...
What REALLY gives it away is the landing grinder on the back of the lower leg. Notice it? In the same exact spot as Idolo and Jehuty.

Coincidence huh? I think not.

Mecha-Musume have had footless characters for ages.

I can't think of any right now, but I know I have seen other mech's with lack of proper feet.

Final form of Nirvash in the Eureka 7 movie is the only one I can think of right now, but I am sure that I've seen others.

As for the "grinder"

meh, raxhephon's meches kinda look zoe like to me, not complaining about it

i just hope they put some REAL ZOE mechs in the super robot war series

Believe it or not... some of the staff that made ZOE Idolo and Dolores helped make Eureka 7, and the ZOE idolo writer also worked in making Gundam X.
