I'm sure someone on EBAY or other online retailer could put a receipt of the purchase price in the shipping box. That way you won't be ripped off.

The deal here is that I have no idea how this stuff works in my country, and I'm not finding any information at all. Believe me, I went apeshit searching for that info when Anubis became available for pre-order and ended up even more confused.

I'm completely in favour of a contest, though. Better yet, I'd have a motivation to make something (assuming the contest would require us to create, that is).

As for a contest, it wouldn't be something too difficult.
Maybe have contestants submit a paper-craft backdrop for the figure, I number them, and have the members vote for the winner. Or, take everyone's names, write them on pieces of paper, into a hat they go, and without looking ... pull out the winner.

Well, I'm not risking having to pay double for an already expensive figure :/ believe me, with what little I managed to gather (which is a couple bits of shoddy info; don't even know if it's correct) and the price basically doubled for the Anubis figure.

Hmm... never tried papercraft, could be a nice experience.
