Why not have ZOE 3 play out in the early portions as a squad based third person shooter in an LEV and then later switch to the Orbital Frame portion.

That way you could add a lot of bonus games in the extra missions section, kind of like Zoradius

It would be quite interesting to start the game out in a proper LEV.
So long as it doesn't end up being dull. LEV's can't fly and don't have all that much manoeuvrability. That mining LEV from the beginning of ZOE2 was so frustrating :P

I wouldn't want it to go on too long, after all everyone just wants to get in their Orbital Frame and start blowing shit up.
But I could see it being a good introductory scene to the game.

I think it should be an option of some sort...extra mission and such.

It should be as flexible to the player as possible. Squad wars would sound awesome...I have though thought of or wanted to pilot some of the LEVs out there (next to Vic Viper).

The only problem I see with piloting a Phantoma is the attacks. All it has is that big machine gun. What else would it use?

He has got a laser gun artillery and a sword too .
In dolores the new LEV has got a sort of low homing missile .
And in the OAV Idolo has got smoke grenade .
And if we look better, in Dolores, The Long Pao Lev has got laser sword .
Anb don't forget in the fist of mars ! There are a lot of LEV !

But what about the Phantoma? This is about using a Phantoma.

I wouldn't want to.....
But I would Like to play different styles while still killing shet....

So... If It still Meant I would do the mass destruction... then yeah....

Hey, with the mining LEV at the beginning of ZOE2, I figured out a neat trick.

Not sure if you know, but if you make your miner LEV jump, and as soon as it reaches about or around the peak of that jump you press the button to rocket forward. It'll send you flying from that height forward pretty fast. Was pretty exciting.

When you think about it, it would be sort of balanced fighting a raptor with a phantoma, as long as the phantoma runs a respectable speed. It'll get chewed up in close quarters, but I can imagine that machine gun is pretty good.

there wouls have to be some sort of chameleon suit/camouflage and sight conflict or speed....

but yeah..... it does sound balanced...
