I were just playing Fist of Mars for a change when I noticed that the plot seemed somewhat distorted and unnormal. So I decided to look around...

I found out that if you let Mars Angels defeat more mosqitoes than you, the game will be quite different in the future than it would be otherwise. This affects not only plot, but also the gameplay. I still haven't finished yet, so I don't know how radical the cchanges are, but... they seem to be pretty darn radical so far.

If anything this is at least a good reason to replay the game.

The mars angels suck so bad that they normally never destroy more enemys than you.
I've heard about that too but i never tried it out.

Indeed the MArs Angels are rather weak and it's actually pretty hard to let them destroy more, since they are more likely to be destroyed before that.

Ohwell... it is possible though....

currently playing through this myself, nearing the end of it.

I too destroyed more than the Mars Angel's.

I've checked GameFAQs and theres 2 routes through the game. I didn' read too much into it as I dont ant to spoil the rest of the game but, I assume one's a bad ending and the others a good. I'd like to think I'm on the ogod ending route!

Sorry, but it doesn't go that way... it doesn't split between good and bad ending. It's almost a different story completely actually.

The story is better on the one where Mars Angels destroy more Mosquitoes that you from my opinion, but the ending is worse than in the other one.

I wonder which one is canon though...

I didnt read the whole of gamefaq's, I merely went on to see how many chapters there were and noticed it branched off slightly.

Anyways, finished it last night.

What chapter of the game was this? Sorry, it's been probably three years since I played through the game..
