Re: Zone of the enders Special Edtion
I had no choice but the Special edition. Because I am British and therefore Awesome by default. That and the fact that games take so long to come out here, we're more likely to get an updated version. There were a load of silent revisions to the Jap version of the ZOE games as it was.
Also nice graphics are nice and all, but personally I'm an advocate for 2d sprite based games. Because they are beautiful :' (

Re: Zone of the enders Special Edtion
I saw the copy of the game not long ago, but I didn't have the chance to buy it. But that's not really rare for me to see it so I don't really care. My controller's busted anyway so it's the same after all. Mentioned about PAL, damn it. My TV doesn't support it. It'll be rendered in black & white, & the screen will be a little enlarged. Really frustrating you know...

Hmm, Gado's always arguing about this graphix thingy. Maybe I should avoid saying that around you eh? btw for me, that graphix thingy gives me a little aura to play the throughly. I don't know but that's the way how I am. It gives me a little interest in playing the game. I need to insure that so I don't get bored, cuz I don't really have anything to do...

It's a little spice that adds up to those "HOLY SHIT!" moments. Like look at Halo Reach, Being the awesome game it is. It made it more enjoyable with graphics.

I agree with =Jehuty=. Graphics, to me at least, are there to support everything else. I'm also more likely to buy a game wiith poor graphics but good gameplay than a game with good graphics and poort gameplay

Re: Zone of the enders Special Edtion
Graphics do not enhance the gameplay, but they do enhance the experience :V
Graphics are immensely important, but its not about how shiny they are, its about how fitting they are to the experience and creating the right atmosphere. Look at things like Half-Minute Hero, deliberately retro in its apperance, and oh so fitting. But as I said before, I care more for 2d sprite work than current gen brown graphics. Odin Sphere and Muramasa are the pinnacle of game graphics :V
