I've been looking for a program capable of extracting the game sounds/dialogs from the PS2 Game itself, i've been unsuccessful, help!

Hmm interesting. I think someone's already done that somehow. I have the database files. Just email me at reinier_ray@hotmail.com and I'll send the ZIP file as an attachment. Just beware, the FILE IS HUGE!

Are the files in mp3 or in formats readable by video players like WMM?
If they are couldnt you just upload them to mediafire or megaupload and post the link?

Most files from ZOE1 were in (.flac) format for audio transcripts, but the .DAT extractor for ZOE1 doesn't work in the same way for ZOE2 so... I'm back to square one.

Have you tried using a .dat extractor for MGS2? The two games were made relatively close together by Hideo's team and code re-use is a major time saver for us programmers so it wouldn't surprise me if the files were encrypted the same way.
Alternatively try splitting it open in hex and working out the structure from there. Might be able to extract enough info to modify an existing reader to work with it.
