Yes, That's why most games that have Single-player and multi-player last longer and makes you want to play.

I liked the first Zone of the Enders game compare to the second one with the storyboard, but the Second Runner had the better gameplay hands down. But still I love them both regardless.

It's be pretty hard for me to choose between ZOE 1 and ZOE 2.

ZOE 1 had really good cutscenes, fantastic music, great bosses and really visceral gameplay- but because of the setting and situation, everything just seemed so incredibly dark, and the stages were a bit repetitive.

ZOE 2 mixed things up a bit- different places such as Callisto, Mars, Aumaan- and space, heheh- aside from the chillin' in the colony the whole time. Also mixed up gameplay , with the Train, and the part where you fight Lloyd (I think) in the darkness. But, it could be a bit much to take in at one time. I especially like the part where you fight the huge ammount of raptors at once, very fun- it reminded me of Dynasty Warriors, but ZOE style. :D

I choose not to have one favorite, I just play them both :D

Argree with ya. Actually I think it depends. sometimes something repetitive actually can make one feel bored. If you endlessly play ZOE1, you would eventually get bored because it's just that, & that only. You would want to play the sequel next, & then wou will get bored again eventually.

You know, for example: I felt satisfied playing Need For Speed Underground for awhile although I had the second one. One factor that I liked it because of the environment. It was set at another place. I felt bored playing at the same place again & again, that's what happened when I played the sequel.

So actually both are dependent. I think if ZOE3 ever comes out you might want to play the second or even the first titles of ZOE, although it's already outdated...
