I guess that would actually be more of a teaser or early/mid production trailer than a final product trailer. After all, you'll notice how there are many design "inaccuracies", and how the graphics are much more different.

Well, if it were a teaser, it wouldn't last up to 5mins. Teasers are often very short and straight forward. The graphics in this trailer are better than the game. I have the Japanese version of ZOE and it looks very similar to the english version, if not the same... Anyways, I think this is a rare find/trailer. My first time seeing it =)

"or early/mid production trailer"
I'd put my money on this one, then. I kind of forgot about that characteristic of teasers :P

Anyway, I'd have to disagree on how this "looks better" than the game. The models look almost like plastic. They may have a higher poly count (which was probably toned down for the final product), but there's something horribly wrong with the textures.

But would it be an end-production trailer? No way. You can see how graphics are extremely different, so they must've gone through massive changes until the final models were ready. And we also have that Neith, which is obviously a prototype model.

Maybe this was the unfinished "Special Edition" which didn't get released to the market due to poor sales and bad reps from critics. So, they decided not to publish the game.

I have to admit... the older beta version of Jehuty was better-designed.
For example, all of its collisions were perfect.

The cockpit didn't grind up against the thighs(this is a mortal flaw in ZOE 1 and 2 whenever Jehuty brings up one knee). Part of the cockpit seems to be going THROUGH the leg armor and it just seems weird that way.

I wonder why that was never fixed...
AND DAMN IT I want the original Jehuty model that was in the ZOE trailer closeups.
I'd love to put that perfect Jehuty model in ZOE: OA. The detail is slightly higher than the one i have.
