Marduk, that's not a challenge, because there's no competition: you pretty much pwn me :p.
Helldiver, very soon I hope, the only problem is that in two days, it' back to school. So I have to finish everything before that (you won't see me quite has often when school resumes...)

Re: Freedom Project: Orbital Frame Apophis
Time for come back! Got some free time, the project progressed. Here is Apophis's "Full Burst Mode". It's called Harbinger Apophis. Basically it's the metatron engine going from 70% output to 140%. It means higher malfunction risk, higher metatron corruption risk, but the overall power of the Orbital Frame is more than doubled. The engine going berserk also means higher energy output so the suit needs to somehow manage the sudden spike energy. Here is the solution: Fractal Wing System Exhaust Mode: ON!This is pretty much the emergency mode of the OF. When the AI predicts a bad outcome to the battle, the Harbinger Program is executed. You'll also notice some changes in the OF's design.

Took ya a while! I love it! But uhhhh I couldn't help but notice the lower legs look alot like the ones on Marduk. Oh well, it's probably my ZOE-obsessed brain >.< Anyway, I'm friggin loving this mech and can't wait to take it out for a test-spin! 8D

Re: Freedom Project: Orbital Frame Apophis
No no no, they're actually Marduk's legs (slightly modified yeah)!
Marduk's model is quite impressive (the original must be SO high-poly I'm drooling) and I wasn't quite pleased with the original legs so I used them.
But that's simply because I don't have the time to remake the legs, the final version should be quite different and mostly made by me (no blatant mix & match)
I really hope I'll be able to release it soon... but there are so many problems! The hands don't work quite as I'd like to, the chest needs some work, for some reason one of the wing doesn't move like the other and the weapons are only "nice" right now, I want to make them "=D EFFING AWESOME!". And that's half of it.
I HATE when I get all "OMG not perfect I need to redo iiiit!" but I can't help it.

Re: Freedom Project: Orbital Frame Apophis
EliteHaaron: Thanks!
And I can't make a bits system even with the new wings simply because that's not what they're meant to be. They're meant to improve the metatron flow, they're not equiped with any weapon and they can't just go whooosh like bits would. It's not a design problem but a consistency problem if you see what I mean. An energy management system can't just go Zabanya-like because it's cool. That would be inconsistent with the original tech features of the wings. Actually it wouldn't make any sense XD.
I like bits on Gundams/Mechas in general, but Apophis is not meant to be a mix of everything I like. It's not even meant to be the most powerful X or anything. It's just meant to be a coherent Orbital Frame designed to fit my taste.
Oh and what do you guys think of the 2nd version of the logo?
