 Orbital Frame vs Gundam 3D Animation Heya guys, Phi and Medrenaline here!
We have been thoroughly researching the idea of making a full 3D animation short involving Zone of the Enders and the Gundam series, and now that we feel we're ready to begin we'd like to our progress first and foremost with everyone here on the Zone of the Enders forum.
Both of us are currently working towards our Higher National Degree in 3D Animation and wanted to put our skillz ('z', lol) to some good fan use!
Without giving too much away, the animation will be around 5 minutes long give or take a few minutes over, we've chosen our main protagonist and antagonist as well as the setting which will largely be a space environment.
We were hoping to spread the animation over various packages such as poser and after effects but will primarily based in 3Ds MAX 2010.
At the moment were currently in the research and development stage, storyboarding, audio test animations and models etc but we hope to flesh everything out in the next few months and will be working solidly on this over the summer period.
We'll update with new stuff whenever we can, and feel free to send a PM if you have any questions or suggestions!
