Post News on "new" ZOEOA beta 0.87D
Alrighty, I know you guys have been hearing about the newer ZOEOA beta with the brand new Jehuty, Marduk, Nekomata, and other brand new mechs that haven't even left the "foam packing peanuts" of the hard-drive.

I know I promised to release it today, but I think some final adjustments need to be made. This is the last "beta" of the game before it is officially released as a 1.0 Alpha build.

New features include:

*new next-gen graphics including motion blur, bloom, and color correction(no more unrealistic bright colors.
*awesome new sound effects, a few soundtracks changed
*a handful of new mechs
*Jehuty RE-VAMPED to be as close to the original as possible(equipped with new blade attacks, no-walk script(now it just grinds on the floor like in ZOE), homing lasers, and the Gauntlet subweapon.

*slightly better-balanced gameplay with the LEVs re-tuned for a fair chance against the "high flying raptors"(we are well aware of this problem by the way)

*Optimized graphics for greater speed and next-gen efficiency.

*awesome new explosions! (thanks to Mangakaninja)


Instead, I am holding back the game's release for only until tomorrow.
I still believe there are a few things to tune up before I submit it to the web.


Also, keep in mind that the new graphic enhancement may sometimes cause flickering in the middle of the game. I assure you that it does not cause the game to glitch/fail. It is merely a dx9 injector error that occasionally happens when it performs too fast.

The following mechs have yet to be added:

*orbital frame Idolo
*Vic Viper V2
*Raptor convert
*Fuzar 1
*Fuzar 2

Note: "Fuzar"s are orbital frame/LEV hybrids.

I've spent some time heavily optimizing this thing for minimal lag while retaining the new appearance.

You'll be surprised. I EDITED the core settings of the engine. as long as you don't change the resolution or graphics settings, you won't ruin this delicate configuration.

FINAL TUNING HAPPENING AS I TYPE THIS!

One Fuzar is in works right now, which is a mix of other mech parts of both OF and LEV.

And it will begin uploading in about 3 hours.
I am adding one last mech before I upload it, and I may want to fix the UI real quickie...

FIRST FUZAR COMPLETE:

Rogue Raptor.

It has most of Normal Zetus's attacks, but its special subweapon is far weaker than Zetus's Twin Buster Cannon.

Currently ZOEOA is compressing and being prepared for uploading.
