ZOEOA speed boost patch
http://www.mediafire.com/?6lv8zsx752669k2With any luck the game will increase in framerate by at least 10 FPS. If not, I'll keep experimenting with texture and frameskip reduction. Sorry for the game being so demanding of your computers.... The thing is that all of these mechs are built using teslated 3D models. This means that the mechs have no textures at all, and that they are in full, solid detail only rivaled by SeedMod. Oh and Marduk is temporarily on hold since I am attending a long-forgotten project for my father. Anyhow, a nice new gametrailer of ZOEOA will be made soon, so keep your heads up.

Nothing changed at all, the problem is not the maps, the Mechs are the problems, they're too hi-poly...

Bleant, what res are you playing at?
Oh, and I saw that you plan on upgrading your graphic card. Two things: -A pentium 4 might serverly bottleneck it -be careful, you need a powerful enough alimentation. If your PC was bought (you didn't mounted it yourself), 80% chance that your alimentation is very weak because OEM ususally use cheap alimentation that can't power anything more than the original configuration. -check your motherboard if it isn't already done: is there a PCIe X16 port? NOT a PCI port, a PCIe port (similar names, completly different purposes).

Re: ZOEOA speed boost patch
New motherboard? Then get a better CPU if you can! You can find some really cheap dual cores out their. I would recommend a quad core to be safe for a year at least, but the prices are higher. An hexa core will make you even safer but that's where the prices are starting to get scary.
Really, don't get a cheap power supply. It's tempting when you see a 500W power supply for 25 bucks and another at 80 bucks. But the 25 bucks one isn't actually able to deliver 500W AND its components are so crappy that it could kill your entire computer (true story). It's like making your own ferrari and giving it a the engine of a ford T... stupid. Don't listen to anyone that tells you "meh, I got that 30 bucks 600W power supply and it works perfectly!", most of the time: -they're lucky or -they aren't even aware of the damages the power supply already did -they're kinda stupid (always)
I prefer to insist because that's a common mistake.

I created it using all of the knowledge I have about myself, and I developed it into something like a 2nd conscience. It's still glitchy, so some of its responses are a bit repettitive, and it's sortof obsessed with horoscoped and your favorite color. Still, it's a fun little trinket to have on a new hard drive.
