Post Once again this site disappointed me...
Damn! i've been gone for a few months & nothing is new.
surely because this site has lesser members & nothing is interesting.
we only have a few active members here who really loved the game, but that's about it.
I just hope this site can hold on until the sequel is released.
& Kojima you should make it WAAAAYYYY much better than the last titles!!!

p/s: Again, I wish Kojima would have seen this page...

@Gado: well, no comment.

Hmm..., why didn't I think of this earlier. it's been around me for long now & I still didn't realize it. Now I think I know how to increase social activity in here.

How about if we organize a video competition? well, just post your ZOE gameplay that you think is stylish, & compete with others. then just let the competitors vote.

well it might not go popular at first but as this progresses, we might attract more fanboys & this site would not be dull as it is. moreover if ZOE3 is out a lot of people would start pouring in here. imagine that!

so how???

my references:
http://www.phantombabies.net/TST4/ (this is where the entries are lined up)
http://www.phantombabies.net/phpBB2/ (the forum...)

My experience: i've registered after i've seen the promo vid (link). so I witnessed there was a lot of activity going on there during that time.
skipping the elaborations...>_>, it ended last April if i'm not mistaken. & after that social activity has declined really (although it's not that critical). so I made an assumption that it's the competition that makes them busy. & I think we can do the same if we try...

well that's just an unconfirmed theory...>_<

Actually I don't have any proper recording device too. I only have an 8 megapixel camera at my house. that really sucks.
well, if your webcam device is not too laggy or choppy, that's already ok as long as they can see how you play.

now I need the other's opinions about this. & I'll need to convince that ADA dood to host it..., since he's the only one who can create a new link for the entries.
i'll pm him some time...

Post Re: Once again this site disappointed me...
Screeners are obvious. Unfortunately I am currently able to help because my machine is partly and temporarily decommissioned until the ATI HD5000 series (namely the HD5870) comes out, and also because I need to retake Overclocking 101 to try and get a stable overclock to 4GHz.

On the positive side of things though, about a month ago I bought a genuine 21" high-end industry CRT monitor that is capable of 2048x1536 or greater (I think). I may also have the ability to take pixel-perfect widescreen shots of 3200x1600 as well. As far as recording goes, I am able to (with the proper video card) hookup a digital camcorder and play the game in full screen and record.

However, for recording, I would much prefer an application of some sort that would record the game at the cost of real-time FPS so that the recording would result as a full blown 55/60 framerate at the highest quality. This I am unable to figure out.

I have beaten ZOE2:SE completely without problems on my machine, so I can safely say that ZOE2:SE is fully playable, fully beatable, and all the above through PC emulation (I suddenly forgot what emulator it is). ZOE1 is partially playable and has stability issues during loading sequences (whether it be a formal AVA loading screen or a fade-out-fade-in sequence to another scene), ZOE2 plain is also playable, but ZOE2SE's differences over ZOE2 make such a significant difference through emulation that ZOE2SE is the way to go.
