Today on October 3rd, ZOE VR made a major comeback, and has now confirmed one of its first LAN servers open for testing.

I've never heard of this, but it sounds cool.

On a side note, any of you hear about Metal Gear Online? For the past couple years, a group of guys have been trying to get the Subsistence version of Metal Gear Online to work again (the servers have been down for years). I guess last week they found a way to get it to work, although you have to have a GameShark. I don't have one, but I've been looking. I was one of the few that got to play the original MGO, and it would be really nostalgic to play it again.

ZOEVR is on hold. We are working on a new LAN robot game.

Yet an other cancelled project?

Can't you guys try to finish 1 project that we can be proud of?

Like ZOEOA, it is our fandoms flagship!

The new robot game will not be a zone of the enders game, however,
the mechanical designs of the mechs will resemble them a bit
because I prefer aerodynamic appearances for prettier visuals.

The animation tests are already under way, and the main protagonist mech will
feature unique combo animations never seen before.

The game is in VERY early stage production- but the good news is that michael
has successfully resolved most of the issues we were experiencing with AI.

The new engine supports animations, shaders, and other sorts of
nice graphics that were once missing in the previous engines.

It will have support for gamepad controls that can be reconfigured later on
for the user's preference.

We've chosen to go for a NON-ZOE game because this will allow us
to expand our game creatively without having to surrender the rights to another
company, or not being able to take credit for our hard work.
Aside from legal issues, this will also allow us to come up with unique mechanical and world designs that are not restricted to the ZOE universe.

In addition; ZOEOA and all of its previous backups were destroyed when Megaupload was taken down by the FBI when their servers were being raided.

I can recreate ZOEOA again, but it would not live up to its former glory,
and the lack of a proper engine for it poses many limitations in terms of creativity
and expansion.

A new unique game with a fresh new look is the best option for a situation like this.

The new game will feature the same kind of lockon system as ZOE, but the focus will be on the hack-and-slash part with cool combos.

So the game will be ZOE inspired but not a fan clone.

That is sad. But you got a chance to show what you are capable of.
