ANUBIS ZONE OF THE ENDERS Trial Edition

The demo or "trial edition" of ANUBIS Zone of the Enders includes a playable demo of the game up to the first battle with Anubis. It covers the Callisto area, the Ardjet battle, the sequences inside the BAHRAM battleship, and the first encounter with Nephtis. The demo ends with the text "GAME CLEAR" and dialogue from scenes from the upcoming game.

There are two different discs, though the contents of the disc are the same. One disc was handed out for promotional purposes, and the other was included in the Visual Works of ANUBIS book, published by NewType. Both distributions included a brief manual with basic gameplay controls and instructions on how to operate Jehuty.

As with many game demos, elements that appeared in the demo were changed in the final product. The changes that stand out in the demo include the VR Training area being a dark gray color, lock-on sounds for Jehuty's homing lasers, the title screen, and such.
