Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (originally known as "ANUBIS: Zone of the Enders" in Japan) is the sequel to Zone of the Enders. Taking place two years after the events in the original game, the game opens with a new main protagonist -- Dingo Egret, an ore miner working on the icy moon Callisto of Jupiter, who would soon find what seems to be an abandoned Orbital Frame.
In the aspect of the gaming experience, The 2nd Runner is a vast improvement to the first ZOE game in several ways and leaves many flaws the first game had behind.
